    The Science Center education staff and Sitka Tribe of Alaska culture-bearer Chuck Miller, offer a mobile event, Science On the Go for Youth, Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. This event connects science, culture and art with hands-on activities.     • Grab and Go Crafts

      Sitka Public Library will offer weekly grab-and-go bag craft program the entire month of January. New bags will be available every Saturday and participants can pick them up anytime during the week. Craft projects are best for ages 2-5. Registration is required and space is limited. Call 747-4020 to register.

    • FRIENDS OF SHELDON JACKSON MUSEUM

      The Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum is conducting a membership drive giveaway. Anyone becoming a member through Feb. 5th will be entered in a drawing for an Allie High signed print or a beaded barrette. The winners will be announced during the group's annual meeting to be held via Zoom on Feb. 6th.
