The Science Center education staff and Sitka Tribe of Alaska culture-bearer Chuck Miller, offer a mobile event, Science On the Go for Youth, Wednesdays from 1-2 p.m. This event connects science, culture and art with hands-on activities. ALZHEIMER'S VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is holding a free virtual conference on Thursday, February 25th as part of its Educating America Tour to provide information about brain health, caregiving, and more to help Alaska residents affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Friends of the Library Adult Spelling Bee
The Friends of the Library Adult Spelling Bee is back! Join us at Harrigan Centennial Hall on Wednesday, February 24th at 7 PM to flex your spelling muscles and help support your local library. The fee to enter is $20 per person, with all proceeds going to the Friends of Sitka Public Library. Individuals and two-person teams are welcome, and masks and social distancing will be in place.
