
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau clerk's office has posted the official candidate profiles for those running in the Oct. 6 municipal election.
The profiles, which can be found here, represent the official candidate for the Assembly and School Board.
Vice Mayor Maria Gladziszewski is running unopposed for her area-wide, three-year seat.
In Assembly District 1, Alicia Hughes-Skandijs is being challenged by business owner Kenny Solomon-Gross.
The race for outgoing Assemblymember Rob Edwardson's District 2 seat will feature Robert Shoemake, Derek Dzinich, Christine Woll, and Lacey Derr in a four-way race.
In the school board race Brian Holst and Martin Stepetin, Sr. have filed to run for two open seats.
