Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Senate Subcommittee of the Select Committee on Legislative Ethics issued a public decision on Sept. 22, regarding a complaint filed against Sen. Lyman Hoffman.
The Senate Subcommittee on Sept. 22 found probable cause that Hoffman inadvertently violated statute by accepting a meal from a registered
lobbyist for himself and his spouse, each valued in excess of $15.
The committee determined that corrective action by Hoffman had been taken before the subcommittee met and soon after notification of the allegation in the complaint.
The committee determined that further corrective action was not necessary for this inadvertent violation.
