DHSS adds 2 new resident COVID-19 cases in Southeast

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services reported two new resident cases of COVID-19 in Southeast on Tuesday.

    One new case apiece was revealed in Juneau and Ketchikan.

    There were 59 new residents and seven non-resident cases reported statewide.

    There have been 3,394 cumulative resident cases, with a total of 731 non-resident cases.

    The report also listed 987 cases as recovered. There are 2,382 active cases in the state.

    Twenty-seven Alaskans are currently hospitalized as COVID-19 patients, with two on a ventilator.
