
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A hit and run accident is under investigation by Juneau Police and Alaska State Troopers.
It occurred at about 8 Thursday morning on James Boulevard in the Valley.
It was reported that a white Ford Expedition operated by a 31-year-old man was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.
The driver of the Expedition was transported to the hospital for evaluation of injuries he suffered.
The extent of his injuries was not known, but police say they do not appear to be life-threatening.
