
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Alaska Air Group, the parent company of Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, has a new member of its board of directors.
He's Daniel Elwell who is a former military and commercial pilot.
He also served as deputy and acting administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration from June 2017 to November 2020.
Elwell will serve on the board's audit and innovation committees.
