
Sitka, Alaska (KINY) - Blue Lake Road, Sawmill Creek Campground, and Beaver Lake trail will be closed during helicopter operations on June 28 and 29.
The Sitka Ranger District will be using a helicopter to fly gravel to the Beaver Lake trail for improvements.
The road gate at the start of Blue Lake Road will be kept closed while work is ongoing.
The Sitka Ranger District asks pedestrians to refrain from accessing the listed areas during the scheduled closures for their own safety.
