SLAM to reopen to walk-in visitors next week

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska State Libraries and State Archives will reopen to walk-in visitors on Tuesday, July 7.

It is recommended visitors continue to make reservations, though reservations are not required.

Public hours will remain Tuesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Alaska State Museum will reopen to walk-in visitors on Wednesday, July 8.

Timed entry will no longer be necessary. Public hours will remain Wednesday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
